Ever Used Cell Phones’ GPS To Not Get Lost? That May Be Outlawed Soon.
Recently, the US Department of Transportation has come out more strongly against people who have used cell phones while driving, now threatening to mandate scramblers so that no one–not even passengers–can use their phones in a car, an effort to prevent the hundreds of thousands of injuries that result from distracted driving every year in the US.
Of course, there are some obvious limitations. GPS (increasingly used by cell phones, rather than separate in car devices) is a great tool if you get lost, need to find a gas station, etc. Further, apps like Pandora have encouraged people to used cell phones as an improved version of the radio. Not to mention, of course, that the mass popularity of cell phones began as a safety measure for emergency situations, and some GPS apps will help you avoid traffic, construction, and other accident-prone situations.
If, in the meantime, you would like to take advantage of all the ways people have developed to used cell phones, Cellular Trendz has great deals, prices, and selection (especially when it comes to unlocked cell phones!). So why not plan a road trip while it’s still legal to used cell phones to enhance your driving experience?
